Acima de tudo o amor (Above all, love) - Brazilian Documentary
(2024)
Directed by Junior Gomes (Sarau do Reino)
Original Score
▸ "Sarau do Reino" originated from the journey of two brothers, Jonathan and Junior—singers and accordion players—who for the past six years have dedicated their craft to missionary outreach in the *sertão* (hinterlands) of Northeastern Brazil.
Recognizing how the joy characteristic of the Northeast—coupled with the sound of the accordion—serves to open doors, connect people, mobilize for the Kingdom, and celebrate through worship, the initiative has seen clear, tangible results. Following numerous testimonies and accounts of lives being transformed, the identity of "Sarau do Reino" has solidified as a movement that creates a meaningful impact through the lens of Northeastern culture.
